Since writing What if Things Were Made in America Again, I have had the opportunity to cross paths with many American founders/inventors who have brought to market amazing products invented and produced in America. (Some may include some imported components, but they all are made here.)

A few examples:

The “Space Pen” the astronauts used that writes in weightlessness and on just about anything.
The “Pure Bag” whose inventor contracted MRSA at the gym and developed bags made with germ-killing fabric (important during Covid)
The “LuxBlox” building system for kids with moveable parts that mimic machines and nature.
The FootMate, with contoured bristles that create a stimulating massage and extra cleaning power and increase blood circulation in your feet.

Buying things made in American communities has become all the more important with the onset of Covid-19, as we have lost many of our service jobs. Let’s put those service workers to work making products created with American ingenuity!
